I'm Abdul Rehman Hashmi, a photographer and filmmaker from Lahore who works in Madinah and Makkah. I photograph Umrah journeys, families and brands around the Prophet's Mosque, and travel across Saudi Arabia for shoots.

What I shoot in Madinah
Every shoot is planned around prayer times, the crowds and the rules of the Haram, so the day stays about worship, not the camera.
- 01
Umrah & Haram photography and film
Quiet, respectful coverage of your Umrah or ziyarah: arriving at the Prophet's Mosque, the courtyards under the umbrellas, Quba Mosque and Mount Uhud. Photographs, a short film, or both.
- Families, groups and solo pilgrims
- Planned around prayer times
- Edited gallery within a week
- 02
Madinah city portraits
Portraits with the city as the backdrop: the minarets at blue hour, Quba Mosque, and the date farms on the edge of town. For couples, families and personal brands.
- Golden and blue hour sessions
- Locations chosen for privacy
- Natural, unposed direction
- 03
Product & brand shoots
Product photography and short brand films for Saudi businesses: perfume, oud, dates, abayas, cafés and hotels. Clean studio work, or lifestyle frames shot on location.
- E-commerce and social sets
- Short films for Reels and TikTok
- Arabic and English deliverables
- 04
Events & weddings
Nikkah ceremonies, walimas, family gatherings and corporate events in Madinah and Makkah, documented without interrupting the moment.
- Photo, film or both
- A short teaser the same week
- Travel to Makkah and Jeddah

Madinah
The Prophet's Mosque, its minarets and canopies, and the quiet hours between prayers.

Makkah
The Kaaba, the kiswa and the city around the Haram, from first light to night.

How I work
Shooting in Madinah, done properly
Respect comes first
I never photograph people who haven't agreed to it, and I don't stage anything that would disturb worshippers. Other pilgrims' faces are kept out of frame or softened.
A light kit
Small Sony bodies and fast primes, with no tripods or lights inside the mosque. It keeps the shoot within the rules and lets it feel like part of your visit.
Three languages
I work in English, Urdu and Arabic, so planning with families, hotels and brands stays simple.
Delivery
Photo galleries usually arrive in 5 to 7 days, and a short teaser can follow the same week.
Questions, answered
The things people ask before booking, answered plainly. Don't see yours?
Phones are widely used, but professional cameras, tripods and lighting inside the Prophet's Mosque and Masjid al-Haram need prior permission from the authority that runs the Two Holy Mosques, and security can ask anyone without it to put a camera away. So I plan Haram coverage within what's allowed: the courtyards and approaches with a compact setup, no tripods or lights, nothing in the Rawdah, and never photographing worshippers who haven't agreed. If you need a larger production inside, tell me early so we can look at a permit.
Still wondering? Abdul Rehman replies to every message himself.
